We were embarking upon the recruitment of a new Executive Director. I had been President nearly 20 years earlier and the prior executive was there just as long. Because we had members of our board who were accustomed to working with corporate headhunters and many who had plenty of experience with executive searches, we had easy access to getting help. Because of my prior observations with Jenny in another nonprofit executive search, I suggested Jenny for this search. Being local with a strong recruitment background and a positive first impression, she secured the search. Competence without arrogance is a strong suit of hers. She created reasonable expectations, delivered a variety of candidates and generated an interview process in a timely fashion. Because of Jenny’s efforts, the pool of candidates was expansive and the final hire was a great fit that met the changing needs of the organization.
As a volunteer board member, Jenny provided key leadership coupled with experienced guidance in the recruitment process & resulting transition. Jenny’s leadership came at a very difficult time where we transitioned through three different executive leaders. Jenny brought to the table a calming influence. As Board Chair, she helped all understand that we should not take on too much at one time as we endeavored to enhance organizational credibility and professional integrity. She was both studied and cautious as she helped the newest CEO & Board of Directors consider and adopt measurable strategic planning goals. She largely helped focus upon reasonable expectations, and not a long list of dreams. At a critical time, she provided calm and effective leadership.
The assessments provided by Revels Consulting have been very insightful for me and my staff. These assessments helped us learn more about ourselves and our work styles but most importantly helped us learn the best ways to work together. The PI report gave us tips on best ways to interact with each other on work projects so that everyone can be happy and successful. The DISC report was very insightful into exactly what my leadership style is. It helped me see strengths and weaknesses so I can focus on where I need to improve to be a good leader for my team.
Jenny has been fantastic about screening and interviewing candidates for us. This makes the hiring a lot less time-consuming for us while improving the overall talent of our new hires. Being a small business owner, I often find myself short on time. So working with her is ideal! Highly recommended!

I have known and worked with Jennifer for a couple of years. She has great leadership and follow through ability when working on projects. She is able to get people to work together. Having worked with Jenny for close to two decades at Bliss Communications, we accomplished many milestones. The sensitive nature of hiring and firing in a FCC controlled environment requires conscientious management. Jenny assisted our broadcast operations in meeting legal requirements while operating with a view for what’s best for the bottom line. Jenny doesn’t always tell you want you want to hear. She operates as a consultant with the best medicine. (Then again, if I just want positive feedback, I’ll talk to myself.) Jenny is skilled at recruitment, benefits & compensation management, employee relations, organizational structure/job descriptions and legalities that I’d prefer to pawn off on someone else. If you want to grow your profits, concentrate on your top-line, then let her manage your human resources issues.
